Live Music Events Course

Tune Up is a new project aiming to train young people with skills in the live events industry. Skills in marketing, programming and event production live will be taught by The Smokehouse team and invited industry guests, providing them with an essential skillset for the music and creative industries.

Want to learn about behind the scenes of putting on gigs and festivals?

Tune Up is our new project for 16-25 year olds in learning about production, programming, marketing and event management. 

With industry professionals offering their expertise and experience in different sectors, you will learn new skills in order to gain the experience and confidence to volunteer and look for employment opportunities within the industry.

You will get an insight into the running of behind the scenes at live music events, while learning skills in marketing, programming and event production. No experience needed, just an interest in live events, whether you’re an aspiring sound engineer, content maker, or want to run a festival one day!

TUNE UP IS DELIVERED BY THE TEAM AT BRIGHTEN THE CORNERS (SOUNDS EAST CIC PARTNERS WITH OUT LOUD MUSIC CIC) WHO ALSO RUN THE SMOKEHOUSE, THE BATHS, THE CHURCH AND FESTIVALS.
